Shoes are not allowed inside the main hall; shoe racks are provided at the entrance. The temple does not take reservations for groups.
Getting there
- Bus: the Hakubutsukan Sanjusangendo-mae stop is right in front. From Kyoto Station, city buses 100, 206 and 208 take about 10 minutes (traffic can change this).
- Train: Keihan Shichijo Station, exit 2, about a 7-minute walk.
- There is a car park for about 50 cars.
